This is Nathaniel, our 6 year old son.  He is on Joker, our 11 year old gelding.  Joker was bought as a roping horse\cow horse, to work cattle with and to just have some fun on.  He only knew how to come out of a  chute FAST and chase cows when I got him.  This little horse has came a very long way.  He will work cattle, run a barrel pattern, although that is NOT his favorite thing to do, go trail riding, and give rides to all the kids that visit the barn. Trail riding in the mountains is one of his favorite things to do. This little horse is all go and no quit.  And one of the safest trail horses I have ever owned.  I trust him enough to put Nathaniel on him and know that this horse will take him through anything, anywhere and do it as safely as possible.  Although Joker is my horse, I think I have lost him to Nathaniel.  These two have become quite a pair and Nathaniel has gotten Joker to do many things that he wouldn't do for me, such as stand next to the fence so he can climb on.  I am very proud of both Nathaniel and Joker.

Casper

This is my old quarter horse Casper, he was with me for 10 or more years before he passed over the rainbow bridge. He is sorely missed!

Big gelding

Tracy and Jake, I took this picture just as Jake was shaking his head at a fly. Makes him look like a silly boy

Down time
